On behalf of the California Department of Public Health’s Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health (CDPH/MCAH) Division, we invite you to our 40th Annual Conference on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome/Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SIDS/SUID). As part of the CDPH/MCAH Division’s ongoing efforts to increase public awareness and provide education about SIDS/SUID and other sleep-related infant deaths, this conference focuses on providing support to parents and family members who have been affected by SIDS/SUID, and information to professionals who encounter SIDS/SUID cases in their jobs, to allow them to better understand the experience of parents and families, and to provide insight into what can be done to reduce the risk of SIDS/SUID in their communities.

This year’s conference is offered as a series of webinars to allow participants greater flexibility in selecting sessions to attend.

Who Should Attend?
Coroners, coroner investigators, DSS childcare program analysts, child care providers, emergency department personnel, EMTs, fire personnel, health educators, hospital staff, law enforcement officers, MCAH health care professionals, paramedics, RNs/PHNs, social workers, SIDS Coordinators and public health professionals involved with SIDS/SUID.
