April 18, 2021 @ 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

In this interactive community workshop led by Asian American licensed acupuncturists, we will explore anti-Asian policies, micro— and macro aggressions, and systematic racism in academic institutions, professional organizations, and the health and wellness space. Participants will learn how to incorporate anti-racist activism as a clinician, student, and educator with powerful actionable steps towards cultural humility and health justice liberation.

The 1.5-hour workshop is led by Dr. Tamsin Lee, Dr. Emily Siy and Dr. Paige Yang who will share their expertise as a researcher, clinician, solopreneur and Asian American community leaders. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to CAAV Organizing Asian Communities, a small grassroots organization founded in 1986 by Asian working-class women.

This workshop is open to all licensed acupuncturists in the world, acupuncture students, board members, faculty, administrators, and businesses that profit off of East Asian culture.

Registered participants will receive a recording of the event. For those unable to attend, please consider donating directly to CAAV.
