by CDC's National Center for Injury Prevention and Control

You are invited to join us for this year’s third and final Fireside Chat with leadership at the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC). These Chats are an opportunity to hear directly from NCIPC leadership and its partners about NCIPC priorities, including opioid overdose prevention, suicide prevention, and adverse childhood experiences.

This third Chat will feature a real-time video conversation between Captain Christopher Jones, PharmD, DrPH, MPH, NCIPC’s Associate Director of Strategy and Innovation, and John Auerbach, MBA, President and CEO of Trust for America’s Health. They will discuss what the latest data tell us about adverse childhood experiences (ACEs); how ACEs are linked to opioid overdose and suicide; how preventing ACEs can help children and adults thrive; and why a comprehensive public health strategy to prevent ACEs is so important. Following the conversation, there will be a moderated Q&A with attendees.
