Expanding Access and Harnessing the Power of WIC

The WIC Program is adjunct to health care and provides support that aims to improve overall health outcomes for WIC families through nutrition counseling, breastfeeding support, referrals to health care and other community support and providing a monthly allotment of healthy foods. CWA engages in innovative projects in partnership with local WIC agencies to improve collaborations with health care partners, streamline access to WIC, and address social determinants of health.
