Congrats CNC Scholar!

“In receiving this award I would really just like to thank everyone at WIC that I have had the pleasure to work with, including all of the supervisors, area managers, nutritionists, WNAs, lactation consultants, and peer counselors. They have all taught me important lessons and have given me the space and opportunity to grow, and for that I will always be grateful. Working at WIC has shaped my life and future in so many different ways and I hope to give back by working to empower and advocate for our wonderful families. Thank you to CNC and WIC for your amazing support!”

— Kelly Woo, PHFE WIC

Congrats CNC Scholar!

“Success is not a race. Some of us are sprinters, others marathon runners. The time it took to the finish line does not matter. Getting past the finish line is success.”

— Angel Alonso, PHFE WIC

Congrats CNC Scholar!

“I am truly honored to be a recipient of the CNC Shirlee Runnings Scholarship. Your generosity is not just an investment in my education towards becoming a registered dieteitian, but in the dreams and aspirations that drive me. As a WIC employee and dietetic intern, I am continuously reminded of the importance of giving back to communities in need of support, just like the California WIC Associaton has helped me. Thank you for recongizing my accomplishments and believing in my potential.”

— Diana Gonzalez, PHFE WIC
