Grow Our Own Lactation Prep Consultant Course
Riverside University Health System offers the Virtual Grow Our Own Lactation Prep Course where you can earn 95+ hours of lactation-specific education. Included are five (5) hours of communication skills and 2 hours of WHO Code instruction to meet the Lactation Specific Education requirement needed to sit for the International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) exam.
The 2027 course is pending approval by the California Board of Registered Nursing, CEP13623 for 105 contact hours and the Commission on Dietetic Registration for 95 contact hours.

Course Information

- Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative Training
- IBCLC Detailed Content Outline

Our Course is Approved by the Lactation Education Accreditation and Approval Review Committee (LEAARC). Grow Our Own will provide the textbook Core Curriculum for Interdisciplinary Lactation Care.
