Looking Forward: WIC Celebrates 50 Years!

Our 32nd Annual Conference was May 6-10. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to its success! We had 1,200 attendees from across CA, and welcome guests from other states and programs. In addition to learning, we appreciate the networking with our business partners and the chance to try out a wellness activity.

We are planning for our 2025 Annual Conference and calling for sessions proposals!

2024 Recordings, Materials & CEUs

Recorded sessions will be available through July 10, 2024.

Conference Materials will be available until July 10, 2024. We ask that all speakers provide slides and resource materials, but some cannot. Again, we do our best, but we cannot require that speakers share proprietary material.

For CEUs for recorded sessions: you will need to complete an evaluation for each session. Click on the “Recorded Evals” link at the top menu on the conference platform. The evaluations for sessions you attended are at the top menu of the conference platform labeled “Live Evals.” Remember to look in your junk and spam folders for the auto-reply emails with your certificates.

Questions?

Who should attend?

Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs), Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Students in nutrition and public health-related studies, WIC professionals, Maternal and Child Health and Social Services Professionals, Community Health Workers (CHWs), Doulas, and Community Partners supporting and nurturing California families.

Conference sessions will be both live and on-demand, with all speakers available for live discussion and online access during their scheduled presentation time. Attendees can also return later and watch all presentations and check out trade show materials on the conference platform through a specified date.

Attendees: You must register for the conference with your own email address to access the Virtual Conference Platform for all sessions, activities, prize drawings, and continuing education units. This conference will provide approximately 30 CE units for RDNs, IBCLCs, and RNs. We will share detailed instructions on how to access and navigate the platform prior to the event.

No, you will watch on the screen on your device and will not need a camera.

We encourage all attendees to log on to the conference platform as soon as it is ready to test their access and get familiar with moving around in the platform.

What time zone is the conference in?

The times on the agenda correspond to Pacific Daylight Time.

Can the conference ‘sell out’ and there will not be enough seats?
